Spectrum Cover

I don't have a whole lot of thoughts left on this project. I was endlessly frustrated during the time we had to do this. I basically took a single photo and deconstructed it multiple times to get this. Plus roughly 7 layer adjustments in varying orders. The object of this project was to demonstrate the ability to use masking effectively and also use at least two different types of layer adjustments.
This project for class was to make a cover of a magazine for Specs, called SPECTRUM. We had to come up with the copy/ headlines, everyone's was different.
I do like how this turned out over all. I was interested in making something that wasn't necessarily realistic but at the same time, make it clear what's being shown, if that makes any sense. This took I don;t know how many hours but it took at least 8hrs, I know this cause that's how long I was in class working on it there for two weeks.
